2009 Could be deadlier than 2008 for journalists -- IFJ

Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly versionSend to friendSend to friendThe International Federation of Journalists issued their annual report this week.The group said the reduction in killings in 2008 will most likely end and that 2009 could be the deadliest one yet for journalists.The IFJ said 109 journalists and media staff were killed in 2008, down form 175 in 2007.
